Is it safe to provide my credit card information online?

Every transaction with Toronto Car service is performed on a secure private server using SSL certificate encryption technology to make sure that your personal and payment information are protected. To verify that you are making an online reservation on a secure website, a padlock will be present on the upper left corner next to the URL bar in your browser. It is also found in the status bar, near the right-hand side, or at the bottom of your browser window. Please understand that if you’re not using an up to date browser, which doesn’t support 128-bit encryption you may have trouble accessing our Online Reservation. Is it possible for me to pay for someone else’s reservation with my credit card?

Yes, but in order to ensure that there is no unauthorized use of your credit card when the credit card is not physically present in the car, we require Credit card Authorization Form to be completed and faxed to us along with a good photocopy of each side of your credit card.

When will I be charged for the service?

Toronto Car service will charge you after the service has been completed. A security deposit is required for vehicles such as stretch limousines for weddings and proms or buses.

What are the terms of your cancellation policy?

We require four hours advance notice, otherwise, we will charge a cancellation fee.

What is the best time to schedule a reservation from the airport?

You should schedule your reservation according to your arrival time.

How long does it usually take to get through immigration and customs at Toronto airport?

You can never tell for sure how long it takes to get through immigration and customs at Toronto Airport. First, you will have to get through immigration and depending on how many other international flights have arrived around the same time as yours, it could take just a few minutes or up to 2 hours. Entering the US with a US passport is faster than with a non-US passport.
Then you will have to pick up your luggage which may also take just a few minutes or can take 20 to 30 minutes depending on how quickly the baggage handlers get your luggage from the plane to the baggage carousels. Then it will depend whether the customs officers wave you through or single you out for inspection and check your luggage, which once again may take a few minutes or can take another 15-20 minutes.

Will Toronto Car service charge me for waiting time if my flight is delayed?

No! Toronto Car service will monitor your flight to make sure your driver will be there when the flight arrives. Once the plane touches down, we will give you 30 minutes free waiting time on local flights and 45 minutes free after the plane touch down for international flights.

When does the waiting time charge apply for pickup at the airport?

Toronto Car service almost never charges for waiting time at the airport, because most of our passengers leave the airport within 30 minutes. We provide passengers on a domestic flight with 30 minutes of free waiting time from the time the flight lands. We also provide international flights with 45 minutes free waiting time from the time the flight lands. After the free waiting time, we charge for waiting time in 15-minute increments. Waiting time charge is equal to vehicle hourly rate.

What if I think I will be delayed going through immigration or clearing customs, and I want to avoid paying waiting time, is there any way I can schedule my airport pickup reservation so I am picked up later then flight arrival time?

Of Course! Just Let the operator know and they will book accordingly. Delayed pickup was designed to provide passengers arriving on international flights with extra time to clear customs and immigration. When choosing a “Delayed Pickup,” simply let us know the amount of time you need.

Does Toronto Car service provide baby seats?

Yes, child seats will be provided upon request with the dispatcher and they will be an extra charge of $15 dollars.

How much time should I allow for traveling to the airport?

We usually say that 2 to 3 hours before the flight is best. Please consult your airline and use common sense when booking your reservation.
